Estate planning, probate, and personal injury for families across Fort Bend County.

I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, spent my early years in Portland, Oregon, and found my home here in Sugar Land. That path taught me early that home is something you build, with the people around you, wherever you land. It's a big part of why I do the work I do now: helping families protect what they've built and the people they love.

I graduated from Houston Baptist University. Before I became an attorney, I worked in the oil and gas industry and I taught high school. Those jobs were good preparation for the law, even if they don't look like it on paper. Oil and gas taught me to read a document closely and take deadlines seriously. Teaching taught me how to take something complicated and explain it so a real person can actually follow it. When you sit down with me, you won't hear a wall of legal terms. You'll hear plain English, and you'll get to ask as many questions as you need to.

I focus my practice on estate planning , probate , and personal injury . Those might sound like three different worlds, but they share something: people usually come to me at a turning point. Someone is planning for their family's future. Someone just lost a parent and now has to sort out the estate. Someone got hurt and the bills are piling up. In every one of those moments, what people need first isn't a pitch. It's someone who will sit down, listen to the whole story, and tell them honestly where they stand.

When I'm not at the office, you'll most likely find me at home with my wife, Katherine, and our Shih-Tzu, Rex, or at Calvary Baptist Church in Rosenberg, where I play drums on the praise team. Church and community are a real part of my life, not a line on a bio, and that same sense of service is what I bring to every client I represent.

How I work with you

I listen first. Before I talk about options or strategy, I want to understand what's actually going on in your life and what you're hoping to protect. A lot of the families I work with have never met with a lawyer before, and they're worried they'll be talked over or talked down to. That's not how I practice.

Once I understand your situation, I'll walk you through it in plain English, lay out what the law in Texas actually allows, and give you a straight answer about how I can help. I'll define every legal term as it comes up, so you're never nodding along to something you don't fully follow. You'll always know what the next step is and what it costs before we take it.

If you're planning ahead, that usually means building an estate plan that fits your family rather than a one-size-fits-all template. If you've just lost someone, it means guiding you through probate, the court process of settling a loved one's estate, so it doesn't add to an already hard season. And if you've been hurt, it means dealing with the insurance side so you can focus on getting better.

What I handle

My practice centers on three areas. In estate planning, I help you put the right documents in place so your wishes are clear and your family isn't left guessing. You don't need a large estate to need a plan. If you own a home or have young children, you have reasons to plan.

In probate, I represent families who are administering a loved one's estate, walking them through the Fort Bend County court process step by step. In personal injury, I help people who've been hurt in an accident pursue compensation for their medical bills, lost wages, and pain. Personal injury matters are handled on contingency, which means no fee unless we win.

I serve clients across Sugar Land, Missouri City, Richmond, Stafford, Rosenberg, Katy, Pearland, Fresno, and the rest of Fort Bend County and southwest Houston. If you're not sure which of these fits your situation, call us at (832) 680-2380. We'll listen, with no pressure and no obligation, and point you in the right direction.
